That Motorbike

Wednesday, 18 December 2013

My father always nags me for not being able to drive motorbike till now, while there have been thousands elementary school kids out there can do that. Lol. So Noni suggested me to have a one week getaway in Kampung so she could teach me how to ride that two-wheelers. She added, it would be really hard for me in the future work-time if I could not drive a motorbike. I agreed and calmly sit in the back seat while she picked me up all the way from Gelugur Kuta. hehe.

We started in a lonely road near the corn field not far from my granny's home. Because it's a matic motorcycle and I of course could ride a bicycle (kill myself if I couldn't ride bicycle, I went to school in elementary time by it) I just need to control my hand power while pulled the gas and balanced the handlebar so I could make it straightly run.

The first mie aceh I bought by driving on my own.

Oh, It's quiet easy and I felt like playing a simulation game. The big boss would be the police who I would show my new ability so he will be willing to give my driver's license. Lol. But, I was mistaken. When I saw a truck came from the opposite way, I was so worry and hardly thought what I should do with my motorbike. Noni just calmed me down and said I just need to stay in my own route or stop could be the other best option.

Noni is the best teacher. She was very quiet in training me but kept being watchful since I could do any worst thing with me as the driver. She just laughed when I was too rigid driving the motorbike. Especially when I sounded the horn to chase the chickens away from the road. I was really bad in practicing the turning part. But practice makes perfect, right?

In the second day, I started to be able to control my worriess when I must share the road with other users. And in the third day, I felt it was really easy to drive the motorbike and I could prolong the training length to buy food which was pretty far from my granny's home. I was the driver for the round-trip, but to be honest, in the intersection of four where there were so many transportations came from all directions met in one point, Noni took over the handlebar. Lol.

Lestari Indah, the first beach I visited by driving on my own.

Last Saturday I went home and Noni joined me because it took 2 hours driving from Kampung to my home, so it would make her so tired if she went home in the same day. Moreover, my sister had promised to treat us Es Teler 77 if I could go to Indomaret by myself. I argued her that I could take Noni to the beach. If the distance from our home to beach was measured, I had repeatedly went there. Lol. In the next day we went to PMF to ask my sister make her promise to be real. Haha. And Noni was back to Kampung and we were back to Perbaungan.

I should have been Es Teler 77 ambassador since I was like do not know where to eat except there and like there is no option except Baso Super Special Jumbo and Es Teler. Lol.
