A Bad Day Out

What an unlucky day!!
Like what I wrote in my previous post that today I came to my faculty to legalize my academic transcript and yes I did it. But I didn’t straight to my faculty because I stopped by ‘RAHMAT’ International Wildlife Gallery first to look around. Rahmat here is the same one in my Unexpected Trip. I was alone and sometime, if it’s possible to go out alone, I prefer to do it than accompanied by my friends. Because I know what I want to but I can’t force it to the others. I should follow my friends’ wish after they did it to me. And I hate waiting but more hate if being waited. That’s why I always be the first come on time which often ending by me waiting the others! LOL
But..
Together is better, okay!
And I love being accompanied by my besties (even need it)..
It’s my first time visit the gallery because before, I thought a place like that was suit for school students only. But I’m wrong! Entered the room, me was amazed with what I saw. But everything was suddenly became a mess visiting. We’re allowed to take camera but no flash. First, I thought it’s okay because they didn’t allow camera some times ago and we’ll get charged if get caught taking photo inside. So I got so many damn bad pictures >,< because inside was kinda dark while flash was forbidden. Okay! It’s not the main reason. I should admit:

Lestari Beach

Finish with our nostalgia, we continued our motorbikes to the beach and we chose Lestari beach. Only 20 minutes from my home. The major destination there is Pantai Cermin or Mirror Beach. The best time to visit the beach was in the work day when everyone just think about work and work and we could feel like having a private beach and it’s free. Because yesterday was Sunday, so the beach was quite crowded.

We rent a hut charged IDR 40.000 and took a nap with the sun shined brightly and wind blew softly but kept continuously

Lestari beach gate entrance. But the three girls didn't want to give me way to just snap the gate without them

Please don't ask me why the sea water was not blue, okay!

At the first, Auliya planned to swim but because we three didn’t want to join her, she cancelled it then. We just bought a little snacks and four bottles of mineral water because we had full tummy.

Me and Chang walked and took photos in the beach and Yutri and Au-au just like the majority parents who had holiday with their kids; laying down with long chatting

Chang..

A little girl collected the jellyfish with her bare hands. She digs the sand and puts the jellyfish in. Not the dangerous ones maybe

There was no sunset session yesterday because we should be back at 5 p.m for Au’s worries of her grandma alone at home

Senior High Nostalgia

Before going to beach, I asked Yutri to turn left her motorbike to our Senior High School, SMA Negeri 1 Perbaungan. And luckily the gate was opened so we could enter the school area. There were some changes of course. We had graduated from the school in 2008, more than 4 years. But our class position, XII Ilmu Alam 1 (Science Class) still in the same like when it was still used by us. Near the teacher entrance gate. It was the class which really alert not to be noisy because we were the closest class to Headmaster's office but the fact was we were one of the most noise classes at that time

A Visit For Chang's Daddy

Yesterday, me, Yutri and Auliya visited Chang’s dad in Medistra Hospital in Lubuk Pakam. We had planned it more than two weeks but because of the lack of our schedules, we couldn’t do it. And it made our ‘theory’ always proven: sometimes,  something without any plan will end with good result
The night before, I texted Auliya if she had a plan on Sunday or not because I wanted to ask her to go to somewhere but she just suggested to visit Chang’s dad, I happily said yes but she continued her message : ‘we go on morning so we can back earlier because I have a business’. Which meant I couldn’t ask her to hangout. She also mentioned Yutri needed to back earlier because she should attend her relative’s party. The dashed expectations!menunggu

Just Looked Around: Second-handed Books

After got full tummy, we continued our walk to the back of Merdeka Walk into the second-handed books sales center in Medan passed the Center Piece. Acrossed the street, we could see the monuments of Bank SUMUT and old buildings of PT Pos Indonesia. Don’t worry about the heat because there are a lot of large trees that shade the side of the road. Arriving the sale of books, known as Lapangan Merdeka, we met a couple of young men and women who acted like SPG because they offered us a book stalls to look around.

Just Looked Around: Merdeka Walk

Because we could not find what Yutri need, we just went to Merdeka Walk by machine trishaw to get lunch. As a hawker center, dozens of food outlets available there. Starting from the Western Food, Asian Food to Medan typical food. This place is known as the most complete hangout in Medan.

The Chinese New Year atmosphere was still very pronounced

Just Looked Around: Pajak Ikan

The first destination for us after getting off the train after reaching Medan Train Station was Pajak Ikan/ Pasar Ikan (Fish Market) and we reached it on foot because it was not so far from the station. But never imagine you would find so many kinds of fish included the sellers in that very old market. Pajak Ikan (people in Medan are more familiar with ‘pajak’ to mention market than ‘pasar’ like the most people in Java or other cities in this country) is the central for textile trade in Medan. You could find any kind of clothes there. With not so wide area, you need not walk so long to find your needs. Every rows had so many shops whether big or small which would help you to find what you want. We visited it because one of Yutri’s friend asked her to buy a... how I call it? a kind of veil to cover head but it was more like a hat. We found it. But there was no one that closed to what she wanted so we didn’t buy it.
