Day 14: The Next 5 Years

Hmmmm.. I don't know how to convey my thought about the topic for this Day-14 of 30 days blogging challenge by Emotional Flutter. I'm not a successor of Nostradamus since I never believe in any prophecy. I always avoid praying in any social media, no matter what its occasion. So, let me use this post as another words assembling exercise. haha.

Proper Job
  • I will have a settled job with so good salary,
  • With 'not dictator' boss, willing to listen to his/her employee's opinions,
  • Cooperate with responsible and patient people since I am someone with learning difficulty, in a very healthy work environment,
  • With no restrictions on religious activities,
  • No prohibition of dating among the co-workers,
  • Free outing once every six months. Lol
Good Living
  • Live in a healthy and lovely environment,
  • Meet so many kind hearted with good attitude people,
  • Nice home with large yard where there are a beautiful garden and a private swimming pool,
  • Facilitated with hi-tech household appliances, so I can say goodbye to broom and mop.
  • Friends with very friendly girls,
  • Meet a man with higher level of faith, having almost perfect subsistence, loving and patient, and of course young and single. haha.

Day 13: This 2 Years

There is no any big change I can make in the period of this 2 years. The most substantial of course I could finish my S1 belonging timely. But it is less able to be recognized as a success because until now, I have not found a place that would accept my service in commensurate exchange called a salary.

Maybe I'm too picky. S1 turns out to be an unwritten rule, which I claim myself to be able to get a job that most people called "decent job" for S1. Though there is still no provision for what categories to show a decent profession for S1 too for sure, right? There are, anyway. The dogma from our community! And I've already swallowed it, so be patient with the opportunity to get what is called a proper job is the only thing I can do. Do not want to be a hypocrite as well. I did very little effort.

In this two years, I also began to understand as the name: the treatments that we give to other people, have a major influence on any outcome that we receive from any intention we want to do. So I started to learn to control the nature of my  easily angry. Yes, despite good intentions certainly be an easy target for the devil to ruin. haha. Every time it came for me to do some good intentions, there's always temptation that made me really hard for restrain anger.

Patient.. Patient..
It's my biggest target.

Day 11: It's Not Only a Need, But Love

Another lovely topic for this 30 days blogging challenge by Emotional Flutter. We are asked to make a post about our ideal (I prefer to call it favorite) menus for breakfast, lunch, diner and snacks. I eat not only for the reason of my body need, but I love to. I felt happy every time I was served with so delicious foods. And something I'm proud of myself is it's really rare found leftover on my plate! I can differentiate which food is tasty, but I refuse to use the not-tasty one as an excuse to throw the food to garbage.

But now I am on on-going OCD, so I do not have breakfast and diner. I still cannot increase my Fasting Hours and stay in my current Eat Window. That's the reason why I am not really breakup with my usual weight, maybe. Lol. But, I love food so much! Happy tummy, happy life! haha.

Note: Images are from Google

Breakfast
For breakfast, I always eat rice. Fried rice and Lontong Sayur (veggie rice cake) will be my favorite. The Lontong Sayur is not a dish you can make in only thirty minutes no matter it's only for a breakfast. You must boil the rice cake at least 8 hours to get the perfect texture. So, buy Lontong Sayur from my favorite lontong sayur seller with her pushed cart is the best option. For the drink, usually I got hot sweet tea but mineral water was the most often.

Lunch
Everyday I have rice as my main menu for the three-times-eat-a-day, I'm truly Indonesian. Here, you have not eaten if it's not rice. Lol. But, if I was not at home or was deliberately looking for food from the roadside stalls or the lovely traditional cuisines pushed carts, the choice would fall on Ayam Penyet (smashed fried chicken) and Meatball noodle.

Ayam Penyet is Indonesian dish consisting rice, fried chicken which had been smashed to make it softer, fried tempe (soybean cake) and tofu, sliced cucumbers and raw cabbage and long beans with the spicy sambal (condiment) which was made with the mixture of chillis, onions, garlics, tomatoes, belacan (a seasoning made from fermented fish and / or rebon shrimp, shaped like a dough or pasta and coloured black-brown) and lime juice.

For the drinks, the spicy dishes need some sweet and refreshing drink. I'll choose ice young coconut and ice lemon tea. For the ice young coconut, I really love if it was added with kasturi juice and liquid brown sugar.

Diner
I really like to have Mie Rebus Medan (Medan boiled noodle) and fried Kwetiau for my diner. Back when I was a college student, I and my housemates would walk to Griya to buy Mie Aceh to bring home as our diner. And for the drink, we ordered ice fruit soup.

Snacks
I don't really like snacking but I can't resist if you offer me the cup noodle called Pop Mie, chocolate ice cream and Bagelen (bread/bun spread with margarine, sprinkled with granulated sugar and then baked in the oven to dry) from Kartika Sari. haha.

The menus above are not the list I eat everyday. My mother will get mad if I do that unhealthy eating habits. Once in two weeks is enough, I think. *A healthy diet freak will call me crazy*. Lol. My mother serves us daily healthy food for our body. Veggies, fish, meat, or seafood.

Day 10: The Places I Wish To Visit

My house is not that far to a beach. But, to be honest I never see the blue colored water sea which allows me to see the sand through the clear water =(. I never go travelling to some place where I will find that kind of landscape. I still love you, Lestari Indah, by the way. hehe. So, here some places I wish to visit someday.

Note: images are from Google

Dari Sabang sampai Merauke, itu lah Indonesia...
From Sabang to Merauke, that is Indonesia...

Sabang
Beside the beautiful beaches, the other reason why I wish to visit Sabang is to see Indonesia's Monument of Zero Kilometre which is the starting point to measure the width of our beloved country. Sabang is a city located in Weh island.

Raja Ampat
Raja Ampat means Four Kings. It's not easy to come to this island, beside preparing a huge amount of money, you must be an educated person to be able to enjoy this heaven on earth. That's according to Sapta Norwandar, Indonesia's Deputy Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy.

The efforts to maintain its sustainability is by restricting the diving activities in Raja Ampat. The reason, the temperature released by the diver's body is feared could damage the coral reefs. That's why Sapta Norwandar told that it must be the qualified and educated people visiting Raja Ampat, so they can understand how to behave, not damage the coral reefs. Source.

What a random post! This is the result if an amateur must explain something she never see with her own eyes. No matter what, I have filled the Day-10 homework for 30 days blogging challenge. Lol.

Day 9: Favorite Quotes

“In life, you will realize there is a role for everyone you meet. Some will test you, some will use you, some will love you, and some will teach you. But the ones who are truly important are the ones who bring out the best in you. They are the rare and amazing people who remind you why it’s worth it.”
Unknown

“Isn’t it funny how day by day nothing changes, but when you look back, everything is different.”

“You learn to speak by speaking, to study by studying, to run by running, to work by working; in just the same way, you learn to love by loving.”
Anatole France

“There’s something beautiful about keeping certain aspects of your life hidden. Maybe people and clouds are beautiful because you can’t see everything.”
Kamenashi Kazuya

“Strange as it may seem, I still hope for the best, even though the best, like an interesting piece of mail, so rarely arrives, and even when it does it can be lost so easily.”
Lemony Snicket

“Never ignore a person who loves you, cares for you, and misses you. Because one day, you might wake up from your sleep and realize that you lost the moon while counting the stars.”
Nico Lang

“I can’t tell you the key to success - but the key to failure is trying to please everyone.”
Ed Sheeran

“I might appear confident and chatty, but I spend most of my time laughing at jokes I don’t find funny, saying things I don’t really mean - because at the end of the day that’s what we’re all trying to do: fit in, one way or another, desperately trying to pretend we’re all the same.”

Day 8: A Love Letter

                                                                                        To: You ♥

I don't know how to call this a secret or a mystery
by God having sent me into your life.
Since my first time presence in your days,
I'm sure you had designed so many beautiful dreams and hopes.
I really feel blessed for that.

Your sincerity, warmth,
and everything you had given, gives and will give to me.
Even if I have enough power to chase the whole people
away from this world
and put it to your hands,
I will never be able to repay you.

But, time by time,
It's looked like I start to make you think
why it is not going as your expectation.
I change,
but you are still the same.

I make thousands mistakes,
you give millions forgiveness.
Please, let me be a little more greedier.
I hope you will be the same,
keep holding my hands.

Don't let me move out of range of your heart,
as you always say,
there's my name in every time you pray.

                                                                              You, Mom and Dad
                                                                                           I Love you

Day 7: If I Were A Time Traveller

Yesterday is history,
tomorrow is mystery,
today is gift.

It's like a backfire when I put "Time Traveller" in the polling section though I knew people MUST be choosing that option. But it's the consequence. I must write a post under that theme. Please take a note that it is only for fun. It's not something which I really hope it will happen to be real. As a Muslim, I believe in the strict prohibition of someone to be a daydreamer. "If only I trust her", "If only I did what she said", "If only I were the deceased Princess Diana's only daughter". Lol.

Time Traveller here is not like something we usually see Doraemon did with his time machine which could bring him and his friends, to go around the world. Like from Japan to hundreds years ago somewhere in Egypt. It 'limits' to the time since I was born and the places I have ever been in.

1. When I was a 6-or-7-months-old baby

I was born in a government-owned cocoa plantation and it was an incident in baby daycare where the parents in the plantation housing entrusted their children in when they were working.

My mom retailed:
When my mother came to the daycare to pick me up, the nanny innocently told her that she was confused why I cried. When my mother saw my condition, she was shocked for what had happened. I sobbed and there were some bite marks on my body. And it's predicted I'd cried for hours.

It turned out the other baby in the daycare who bite me. The nanny who was responsible to make everything under control asked my mother to resolve it amicably but she firmly refused that. She instead asked my father to complain the problem to the supervisor to discharge the nanny. Because the nanny left the babies and she was back to her home to do her personal activity. And it's true. According to my mother, the nanny never back to work in the daycare until her retirement.

The reason I 'want' to be back to that time is not because I want to sue her as the young adult version of the victim baby. Lol. But I 'want' to see how the bite process. Lol. Because my mother added that the incident had caused some hearsay the baby bite me was experiencing demonic possession. Once again, according to what my mother said, it's too hard to believe when seen from the bite marks, they were done by a baby. It's not only one bite mark but there were several which my mother called 'many'.

2.  When everything was 100 times cheaper

Have your parents or someone told you that an amount of money at this time which can only buy one kind stuff, could be used to buy so many stuffs 20 years ago? Yes!! I 'want' to be back to the time where I could buy tens of grams of gold with my weekly pocket money and bring them back. Lol.

Day 6: What I'm Afraid of

Everybody must be having several things scaring them. It includes me and because I'm human, I think it is not a big matter if I have some fears.

1.  Darkness

Oh my! I can not explain how big my fear to this scary moment is. If many of you will not be able to sleep if the lamp is turning on, I am in the opposite side. I can not sleep in a dark room. That's why when I was sleeping and the power outage was happened, I would wake up in a sudden, anxiously searching my phone to get its light.

It's better if I immediately realized to grope my bed to hold the phone. Because several years ago, I would scream to call my parents to 'help' me. Slept without preparing the charged lamp which had been  positioned at the closest place from me was a big mistake!

Ever at one night when the power outage suddenly happened. The anxiety attacked me and I forgot which bed side that could be the way to get my feet out of it. I instead reach the bed side against the wall and stupidly I pushed the wall, cried, frustrated.

Tried to calm down, then I turned my body to find the opposite side and I walked in the dark by holding the wall, very slowly, to reach the bathroom where I called my parents whose bedroom was next to mine. And a tiny speck of light would be my savior.

2.  High Speed

Boy, politely I tell you. If your ideal date is playing and having fun in the amusement park with its killing rides, it's better for me to be honest to you: just leave me! That's all. Full stop.

Day 5: The Beach

It just takes less than 30 minutes to reach a beach from my house. There are several managers in that beach which make it has so many names. The brand new favorite one is Sri Mersing. Compare to others, Sri Mersing is the most distant and it's such a benefit for me. Less visitors = less waste.

I and my family sometime spent the afternoon quality time in the beach just to have some feet bath or if the weather is nice and the water is kinda teasing, we will swim. My parents also like to chat with the fishermen and buyt their fresh fish.

And also I and my best neighbor girls concurrently my best friends always have at least every once a week (if Molida is here) to chill out there and sometime we swim like it's our private beach. Because we usually come in the afternoon when the visitors had been out of there. And we can drive our motorcycles just to have girl's chatting by sitting on the swings there.
